Speaking about the withdrawal from Avdiyivka, Sirsky stated that it was determined by the significant superiority of the enemy in the strength and means of the assault units, the constant bombardment with guided aerial bombs that disrupted the integrity of the defense, and the lack of artillery ammunition.

“To avoid the siege and save people’s lives, I made a decision to withdraw from Avdiyivka. Unfortunately, during these battles, 25 Ukrainian soldiers were captured. This is war,” Sirsky said.

“We managed to stop the enemy near Avdijivka using the positions we equipped during the battles. The main line of fortifications is equipped and is located much further, in the depth of our defenses. Currently, strong defense lines are being prepared in almost all threatening directions,” Sirskis said.
