The changes in the heat energy tariff are related to the price reduction for wood chips, which the company uses for the production of heat energy in Gulbene

“Gren Gulbene” has submitted the relevant tariff changes to the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PURC) for evaluation.

The manager of “Gren Gulbene” Agris Libeks states that, as the prices of wood chips have decreased, the company has reviewed and reduced the heat energy tariff in Gulbene. Although the heating season is coming to an end, the new thermal energy tariff will allow customers to reduce payments for hot water, says A.Libeks.

The company “Gren Gulbene” was registered in 2008, and its share capital is 830,000 euros, according to “Firmas.lv” information. The turnover of the company in 2022 was 2.35 million euros and the profit was 296,468 euros. The sole owner of “Gren Gulbene” is SIA “Gren Latvija”.
