Sunday at At 10.40, the State Fire and Rescue Service (VUGD) received a call to Tērbatas Street in Jurmala, where a two-story residential house with an area of ​​75 square meters was on fire. Eight people evacuated the house before firefighters arrived. This high-risk fire was extinguished within four hours, VUGD said.

In total, in the second half of last week, VUGD received one and a half dozen calls from Pierīgas districts and Jūrmala. In terms of area, the largest fire was registered on Saturday afternoon in Ādažu parish of Ādažu county, where 5,000 m of land burned2 in area and power line support 0.1 m2 area – the fire was extinguished within two and a half hours. On Sunday afternoon, a 900 m fire was burning in Stopiņi parish of Ropaži county2 area, but on Sunday in the middle of the day, 30 m of reeds were burning in the Ādaži district2 in area.

A table (0.5 m2 in area), Pīlādžu Street in Sigulda – electrical distribution cabinet on the first floor of a two-story residential building (0.5 m2), Mārupe county, Mārupe parish – roof covering in a one-story sauna (2 m2), on Tērbatas street in Jūrmala – the roof of a two-story residential house (0.01 m2), but in Ledurga parish of Sigulda county – soot in the chimney of a two-story residential house (2 m2).

Combustible waste was extinguished in three accidents in Jūrmala – in the garbage storage room on the first floor of a five-story residential building on Tērbatas street, in a container on the first floor of a nine-story residential building on Skolas street, and on the second floor of a five-story abandoned building on Slimnīcas street.

The consequences of road traffic accidents were eliminated on Friday morning on Jomas Street in Jūrmala, where a collision of two passenger cars had occurred, and in the Mārupe Parish of Mārupe County, where a collision of two cargo minibuses had occurred, as well as on Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Dārzkopības and Pērkona Streets in Jūrmala, where rescuers with the help of an absorbent also picked up spilled motor oil.
