Already tomorrow, May 9, on the big Eurovision stage in Malmö, Sweden, we will see the home favorite Don with the song “Hollow”. He and the team have significantly changed both their outfit and the stage layout, compared to what we saw the musicians in “Supernova”. Don explained why and what it means in an interview with Wiwibloggs.

When asked why the color blue appeals to him so much, Don replies, “It’s the color of hope. I like this color and it suits the song. That’s the concept.”

On the other hand, about the new stage layout, or the huge circle that will be behind Don during the performance, the musician says: “What I wanted to achieve with this is the moment when we meet each other, or ourselves, and you have this open conversation and truth, time and place do not exist. We wanted to make ourselves somewhere and nowhere at the same time. So it’s kind of like meeting yourself, and this is an opportunity to tell the story of Hollow.”

A similar, deep thought was also invested in Don’s new stage outfit: “The idea was – we all have our own armor, sometimes it’s bulletproof, sometimes it’s not. I don’t know how it will be this time, but [tērps]symbolizes that we each need armor to deal with everyday things and difficulties. Sometimes they help, sometimes they don’t. But mostly they help.”
