US shares ended the previous trading session with a good increase of almost 0.9%. Basically, it happened as you could have guessed before. Yes, US stocks had slipped lower for a few trading sessions, although a new record high was still a successful day away.

Market participants are widely cited as “trading water” ahead of Friday’s US inflation data and the holidays. Namely, during this period, investors do not want to take any drastic actions.

The US Standard & Poor’s 500 index has risen by about 25% since the end of October. Many have expressed concern that after such a rally, stocks are more vulnerable to short-term profit-taking.

For example, Wall Street giant JPMorgan Chase Co. leading securities analysts have just warned their clients that they may find themselves “stuck on the wrong side of the river”. Namely, as the recent strong trading inertia eventually collapsed, investors were encouraged to think about diversifying their risks and managing portfolio risks in general.

JPMorgan experts also added that there is excessive crowding in the leading stocks with the best results, which also increases the risk of an imminent price correction.

Apart from Japanese stocks, Asia saw mostly gains in equity prices today.
