Russia threatens to sink and turn the West into ashes in response to aid given to Ukraine

Thus, Moscow is once again turning to intimidation tactics in an attempt to reduce Western aid to Ukraine. Dmitry Kiselyov, the host of the “Vesti Nedeli” program on the “Rossiya 1” channel, started his program on Sunday with the threat of nuclear weapons to Europe and the United States. The propagandist promised to “immediately disarm France”, sink Britain and reduce the US to “radioactive ash”.

The Russian nuclear threat became the first phrase in Kiselyov’s broadcast. He expressed this while announcing the main topics of the program. “Will Russia Use Nuclear Weapons? Answer: yes, but under what conditions?” – said its leader in the program. Kiselyov cited the April 22 article in the magazine “Foreign Affairs” as the reason for this, which comments on the February statement of French President Emmanuel Macron and the March statements of the Finnish Minister of Defense and the Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs on the readiness to send troops to Ukraine.

Kiselyov also reminded of the initiative to confiscate Russian assets frozen in the West. “The Americans are straining relations to the point of impossibility, and some in Europe are planning a direct military confrontation with Russia in the expanses of Ukraine in this context,” he added. Then he rhetorically asked the “main” question: will Russia respond to it with a nuclear strike, answering himself: “The answer is clear: the conflict with the West in Ukraine is growing”, allowing the possibility of using nuclear weapons when “the existence of the state is threatened”. Kiselyov based his reasoning on a quote from Russian President Vladimir Putin’s March 2024 speech, where he pointed to “catastrophic consequences for Russian statehood” in the event of a defeat in Ukraine. After that, the presenter reminded the audience about the 2020 presidential decree “On the foundations of the state policy of the Russian Federation in the field of nuclear deterrence”, which allows the use of nuclear weapons “if the very existence of the state is threatened”. He also quoted several statements by Putin about the combat readiness of the country’s strategic weapons and the conditions for their use. “France as a nuclear power will simply have to be disarmed, the British Isles will simply go under water, but it is better not to come to that, and this is not propaganda,” the propagandist emphasized.

Speaking about the consequences of Russia’s use of nuclear weapons in the United States, Kiselyov recalled the video he made in 2014 about the “radioactive ashes” that Russia allegedly managed to turn America into. “Guaranteed repayment is inevitable. There is no need to corner Russia,” he concluded.

As you know, last week Joe Biden signed a bill on the allocation of 61 billion dollars to Ukraine. The money will allow Ukraine to maintain its position until 2024 and “destroy Putin’s belief that time is on his side,” said CIA Director William Burns. Last week, Washington admitted that it had supplied ATACMS missiles with a range of 300 kilometers to the Ukrainian armed forces.
