Meghan Markle is “eaten without salt” on the Internet – she sent Kris Jenner a basket of old lemons

Meghan Markle has been trolled on the internet for sending a gift basket that has been likened to trash to the famous Kardashian mom and TV personality Kris Jenner from her newly founded lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard.

This week, the Duchess of Sussex sent out gift baskets of her latest ‘American Riviera Orchard’ jam to her celebrity friends. Jenner was one of only 50 people chosen to try Meghan’s new product.

She received the jam in a wicker basket filled with fresh fruit jam, several lemons, herbs and a handwritten letter.

On her Instagram story, the 68-year-old media personality shared a picture of the thoughtful gift for her 52 million followers to see. In the post, she noted and personally thanked the company for thinking of her.

While Kris may have appreciated the gift, fans were outraged at the gift and blasted Meghan for sending stale and shriveled fruit.

One user on Reddit wrote: “Too bad Kris Jenner is worth billions but couldn’t afford fresh lemons. These look like she pulled them out of the bin, they look rotten.”

Another critic added: “Must have been a late delivery… the lemons look shriveled?”.

While a third wrote: “Does Meghan really expect Kris Jenner to be surprised by strawberry jam served in a bowl of old lemons and shredded paper? This whole business venture is a lemon. Does anyone believe she’ll ever actually sell jam?”

And another replied: “Meghan Markle couldn’t stoop any lower. No decent person will have anything to do with her.”

Portal “1188.lv” already wrote that on March 14, the Duchess of Sussex announced her new brand “American Riviera Orchard”. According to Page Six Style, the brand will focus on home, garden, general lifestyle and food products.
