The Dobele County Museum is happy to open its doors to anyone interested in celebrating the European Museum Night. This year’s event will take place on May 18, offering a wide and varied program for both young and old.

From 19.00 – 23.00 there will be an opportunity to view the permanent exposition of the Dobele County Museum “Once in Dobele…”, the exhibition “Modini, Mudini, Mierini” Dobele County Evangelical Lutheran Churches” and Zita Vēvere’s painting exhibition “I am”.
Everyone will have the opportunity to express themselves creatively in one of the creative workshops – from From 19.00 to 22.00 there will be a screen-printing workshop in cooperation with “Graphic Art Room – punkts”, from 19.00 to 23.00 a glossy card workshop for children and an art workshop for adults with the artist Zita Vēveri.
At the door of the museum itself, there will be a technically exciting driving workshop with RCDrift, where you can get to know the history of the car industry and try your skills driving a professional radio-controlled car on a drift track, which is a 1:10 scale exact replica of a drift car.
You will also have the opportunity to participate in the musical workshop of the Bell Ensemble “Primus”, where you will not only be able to listen to the sounds of the bells, but also get to know the bell as a musical instrument.

The event will be photographed and filmed. The obtained materials will be used for publicity and preservation of the city’s history.
