Hakim Jeffreys, the head of the Democratic faction of the lower house of the US Congress, does not rule out the sending of US military personnel to Ukraine, he mentioned in his interview to the TV channel “CBS News”.

House Leader Hakeem Jeffrey said that if Putin wins Ukraine, he will continue his expansion into the West.

According to Jeffries, Putin is not going to stop at grabbing Ukraine and will try to revive the USSR, which poses a threat to NATO. He added that if Kyiv is threatened with defeat, the US should intervene, not just by providing financial aid to Ukraine.

“We cannot let Ukraine lose. There is a high probability that the United States will have to intervene in the conflict not only with our money, but also with our military power,” the politician said.

He reminded that Russia’s attack on Georgia was not limited to satisfying its aggressive appetite, as well as the annexation of Crimea and the seizure of part of Eastern Ukraine in 2014.

Earlier, several Western analysts noted that NATO countries have set two “red lines” after violating which they can directly intervene in the conflict: the involvement of Putin’s Belarus in the war with a new attack on Kyiv, as well as an attack by the Russian Federation on the Baltic States, Poland or Moldova.

We remind you that French leader Emmanuel Macron has also publicly spoken about the possible deployment of his country’s soldiers in Ukraine. More here.
