The name of the convicted person was not mentioned, but “Mediazona” clarifies that the person punished is Ivan Rossomahin.

The court found him guilty of threats to kill, rape and extremely cruel murder.

In 2020, 28-year-old Rossomahin was sentenced to 14 years in a high-security colony for murder, but was released after joining the Wagner group for a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

After a trip to the front, he returned to his native village in March 2023. The villagers said that the former prisoner started drinking.

According to them, he walked around the village holding an ax and shouted: “I will kill everyone, I will slaughter all families.”

One day Rossomahin, being under the influence of alcohol, took a knife and threatened to kill a villager. A week later, the man, again intoxicated, came to his elderly girlfriend and hit her several times with an object and raped her.

Rossomahin’s fatal victim was 85-year-old Yulia Bušhika. Her granddaughter reports that the man was arrested thanks to the cameras of the neighbor’s house, whose recording shows him entering and leaving the pensioner’s yard.
