The Latvian wrestler completed the training camp in a very good atmosphere, he is physically and morally ready for the upcoming test.
“We worked twice as hard, I also spent four days in Latvia during the preparation phase. This time I am not considered the favorite in the fight, but that means nothing to me. Both of us will start a fight with two hands and feet, whoever imposes his style better will win. I will try to find an opportunity to end the fight early,” reveals Madar.
Last year, Fleminas made his debut in the KSW cage with bitterness – he lost to Andrzej Grzebik on points in a three-round battle. It is interesting that in the next KSW tournament, Grzebik will fight for the championship title.
For 35 years, Madar admits that at that time during the fight the opponent did not show anything, he was only able to knock him to the ground and hold him a lot.
“It’s always unpleasant to lose – I lost to the No. 1 KSW welterweight wrestler. Various factors prevented me from fully concentrating on the fight – a new league, the first duel and the first time in person the support of the family. You can say what you want, I lost anyway, but it was a very good experience,” said Madar.
Madara’s experience in the first battle was seen as an opportunity to improve and continue to develop further.
“I know you have to be ready to adapt and change, but that doesn’t mean the next fight will be easier. I will have to fight the other best in the welterweight division. I am grateful to KSW for the opportunity to fight two of the best wrestlers already in the first two fights,” adds Fleminas.

Latvijas Ekspres is currently not thinking about the end of his career, regardless of what the outcome of the upcoming fight will be: “I will please my fans for four or five more years. My main priority is to win the next duel as it will bring me closer to the KSW belt. I am aware that on a good day I can beat any of Europe’s best wrestlers.”
From 2019, Fleminas represented the well-known British fight sports organization “Cage Warriors”, but in the summer of 2023 he signed a contract with the powerful KSW. Fleminas has 12 wins and five losses during his professional MMA career.
