During the extinguishing work, a firefighter was injured and handed over to the staff of the Emergency Medical Service (EMS). at At 4:42 p.m., VUGD received a call to Ogresgala Parish, Ogre County, where a truck had crashed. Firefighters and rescuers, using hydraulic tools, freed a person from the car, who was pronounced dead by the EMS medics. As a result of the traffic accident, technical fluids leaked from the truck into the river, and in order to limit the leakage, the firefighters installed absorbent caps. The State Environmental Service also worked at the scene.
at At 4:05 p.m., a call was received to Preiļu parish of Preiļu county, where the car had crashed. Firefighters and rescuers freed the person from the car, who was handed over to the EMS medics. At the scene of the road traffic accident, the road section was repaired and the work on the incident ended.
In the past 24 hours, firefighters and rescuers rushed to calls where the utility room of the farm building, the wall of the barn and the barn, soot in the chimney of the building, a toilet, two passenger cars, a gate and floor, a carpet, burnt food left unattended in two cases, a tree, washing machine wiring, an extension cord were on fire. and in four cases waste.
