“What happend? Is that your bike?” ask the law enforcement officers. “No. I went, it was standing here, I left,” said the thief.

When asked if he has identification documents, he answers in the affirmative. “But what has happened?” he asks “There is a call that you have stolen a bicycle.”

“No, friends, I found it,” the man claims. “But where did you see that I… ?” Law enforcement officials say that there are video surveillance cameras at the specific location.

However, the violator did not consider the video camera recordings as proper evidence. Most likely, he had no idea that his actions were clearly visible from beginning to end.

“Are you filming something here yourself with cameras? And how many thieves are there in general?” asks the man in the municipal police video. The policeman invites him to speak Latvian. “Ah, you don’t like Russian? Why? when were you born My grandmother was born here in 1903, Latvia was not here yet, she was born in the Russian Empire. I just don’t like that the Nazis have come to power. You’re a Nazi too, huh? You’re a Nazi, I know. You are a villain! You’re a Nazi!”

Riga Municipality Police representative Ārika Verze informs that during the search of the man, two pliers were found on him. During the arrest, the man behaved aggressively, tried to provoke the police officers. “Consequently, the decision was made to place the man in the operational holding compartment of the vehicle. Later, he was taken to the State Police station for further procedural actions,” said Verze.

“Get on the wheel, friends! I don’t need you digging around in my pockets. Calm down, don’t pull me, don’t pull me! I will sit quietly, but you will soon go to Siberia. I will get the AK47 soon,” the man threatened the police.

Many do not know that the life of the center of the capital is also monitored by law enforcement cameras. Fortunately, there are also criminals among them, whose criminal activities, unknowingly, are perpetuated. One such crime, committed by a hateful man, is our first story of the evening.
