Daugava citizen Margarita Trule’s new painting exhibition “Breath of Nature” will be on display

From May 10 to June 14, the Vienības nama Russian Culture Center (Varšavas Street 14) will host an exhibition of paintings by Daugavpil Margarita Trule “Breath of Nature”. The opening of the exhibition will take place on Friday, May 10, at 16.00

The new exhibition of the amateur artist will feature 20 paintings, mostly landscapes and still lifes. The works seem to be visually simple, but behind this clarity, austerity and the infinity of the landscape, deep emotions are stirring. Margarita often creates her compositions as diptychs and triptychs. Looking at the artist’s landscapes, peace and harmony take over and the paintings affect the human mood.

“My exhibition is a call to preserve the natural diversity of Latvia and Latgale. Because the nature of our homeland is undoubtedly bright and picturesque”, – notes Margarita Trule.

Citizens of Daugavpils Margaritas Trules life is about art and culture. Margarita has been interested in music since childhood, having graduated from the Daugavpils Music High School and the Daugavpils Pedagogical Institute, obtaining the education of a piano class teacher and a Master’s degree in Music Pedagogy. She became passionate about painting only six years ago, but during this time she has already managed to become a laureate of several competitions, attended painting master classes, as well as participated in group exhibitions in Aglon and Daugavpils, including in the Central Library of Latgale and its branches, Daugavpils City Council, in the gallery “Baltais horse”, in the Day Center “Saskarsme”, etc. Since 2018, M. Trule has been a member of the Latgale Association of Free Artists.

The exhibition is organized by the structural unit “Centre of Russian Culture” (KKC) of the “Vienības nams” municipal authority of Daugavpils state city.
