The debts of the Minister of Health Hossam Abu Meri (JV) reached 220,153 euros last year, which is 18,628 euros more than in 2022, when they amounted to 201,525 euros, according to the declaration submitted by the public official for 2023.

In the Saeima, the minister earned 55,018 euros last year, in the State Chancellery – 39,419 euros, but as a gastroenterologist-endoscopist at SIA “AMH” – 14,80 euros, SIA “Jelgava Poliklinika” – 26,311 euros, SIA “Veselības centrs 4” – 228.26 euros . Abu Meri also received 240 euros in salary from SIA “RSU Ambulance”.

The minister also received other incomes totaling 1,561 euros. As a lecturer from VSIA “Paula Stradins Clinical University Hospital” he received 51 euros, from SIA “Biocodex” – 400 euros, SIA “Lotos Pharma” – 630 euros, and as a doctor from SIA “RSU Ambulance” – 330 euros, but from SIA “Cēsi Clinic” – 149 euros.

In addition, Abu Meri received interest in the amount of EUR 0.21 from AS “SEB banka”, and income from economic activity and commercial activity in the amount of EUR 4457 for renting out his real estate from Jānis Zablovkas.

In general, the minister’s income last year reached 130,274 euros.

The politician owns an apartment in Riga and Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, but the apartment, land and building in Riga are jointly owned. Abu Meri also owns land in Ropaži parish, as well as land and buildings in Lebanon.

Abu Meri has had a 2017 light passenger car “Ford Mustang” in his possession since last year, which he bought for 37,000 euros.

The politician has declared that he owns capital shares of SIA “AMH” in the amount of 2,842 euros.
