Last year, his wife Inese gave EUR 100,000 to the member of the Saeima, Ainārs Shleser, reports the magazine “Kas Jauns”.
Former Minister of Transport and Economy Ainārs Šlesers, who is currently the 14th Saeima deputy from the “Latvija first” party, has been married to Ines for more than 30 years.
The magazine “Kas Jauns” writes this week – according to the just-released declaration of Shleser’s official, his wife gave him around 100 thousand euros last year.
It was also the politician’s biggest income in 2023. The MP also received 73.5 thousand euros in salary, 10.6 thousand came from his son Richard, and 1500 euros were included as insurance compensation from “Balcia Insurance SE”.
Shlesser himself has declared two loans – 31.5 thousand and 60 thousand euros, he keeps 95 thousand euros in cash, but he has a total of almost 190 thousand euros in his accounts in three different banks. Last year, Shlesser had 120,000 in cash, and in the banks – about the same amount as in the latest declaration.
