“Tale fairy tales!” When selling the customer’s BMW, the dealer does not return 14,200 euros to him for months

In the middle of December last year, Andris delivered his 2010 BMW X6 car to the used car lot “Auto Ādaži” in Pierīga. The parties agreed that the merchant will help sell it, after the sale of the vehicle, the merchant will keep the fee for the intermediary service, and Andris will receive 14,200 euros.

Said that he was not there, that he forgot to transfer, that he was sick, a wedding and a funeral. He tells all kinds of fairy tales. He also sent payment orders, five in total, as if he had transferred the money, but in reality there is no money.

Julian, the head of the trading company, sent Andris payment orders, which supposedly prove that the money was transferred, but in reality he did not receive a single cent. “They probably did it to save themselves some days, just to waste time. After listening to various reservations, the annoyed Andris applied to the State Police (VP) in March, where initially the investigator said that criminal proceedings would be initiated, but later a higher-ranking official said the opposite.

I talked to the boss. She does not see the composition of the crime. There could be a civil dispute about the money, I understand that, but about the payment orders – this is falsification of documents, fraud.

“Bez Tabu” contacted the VP, where he informed that a departmental examination has been initiated, the decision on the initiation of any process has not yet been made. Also, the law enforcement officers informed that the head of the company is hardly responsive to cooperation. The court, perhaps hastened by the police, transferred 3,900 euros to Andris, but the lion still owes the court.

A departmental inspection was started at the Pierīgas Ziemeļu precinct of the VP Riga Region Administration, within the framework of which the representative of the parking lot was called, who did not want to explain anything by phone, and also said that he would not be able to come to the police in the near future. After communicating with the representative, information was received from the victim that part of the money was returned. So far, it has not been possible to meet J. Isayev in person to accept an explanation.

The “Bez Tabu” team did not manage to meet any employees of the car park, the gates of the car dealership were locked. In a 20-minute long telephone conversation, which was not allowed to be recorded, the head of the company, Juliāns, made various excuses as to why he did not settle with Andri on time, but the sworn bailiff, who allegedly blocked the account because of which he could not make money transfers, was mentioned most often.

Almost immediately after the conversation with “Bez Tabu”, Julian transferred the remaining amount to Andris.
