The 39-year-old Bellemar collected seven points (4+3) and a positive efficiency ratio of +4 in 40 matches this season.
The French national team also includes hockey players from the American Hockey League (AHL), as well as national championships in France, the Czech Republic, Finland, Switzerland, Germany and Russia.
The French national team is the second opponent of the Latvian national team, the teams will meet on May 12 in Ostrava.
