“It’s not so easy to plan,” she emphasizes, noting that with her first and second daughter, who were born to her in a relationship with former hockey player Kaspars Saulieti, everything was very simple, but currently in marriage with pilot Pēteris Vasiļevskis, planning the growth of the family is not going as smoothly as hoped for.

“The age, the pilot, the inconsistency, the time he’s gone… You can’t know what the reason is,” she explains, noting that at least there’s no need to protect yourself. “We have never protected ourselves,” she reveals the details of her intimate life.

During the conversation, they also discuss the stage of life as the wife of a former hockey player.

“If you have a professional athlete at home, it means that you are living his life,” Katríne reveals. If he is at home, it means that he sleeps during the day, he cannot make noise, food must be cooked. You are subject to that regime. Katrina is annoyed by people who think that stay-at-home moms with athlete kids don’t do anything, because that’s not even close to the truth. “Those kids grow up on their own? Do they cook for themselves? Do you get into groups yourself?” she asks.

Katrine finds that it all paid off, as she now has two wonderful daughters aged 11 and 15, for whom she has laid a great foundation.
