“The plans were supposed to be implemented with the help of a network of agents, which was exposed in time by the Security Service of Ukraine with the help of the leadership of the State Security Administration. The network, whose activity was monitored by the FSB from Moscow, involved two colonels of the State Security Administration, who leaked secret information to Russia,” in his “Telegram” SBU announced on the channel.
One of the tasks of the network of agents was to look for executioners among the military personnel attached to the presidential guard, who could capture Zelenskiy and then kill him.
In addition to Zelensky, the enemy also planned to eliminate the head of the SBU, Vasiļa Maļukas, the head of the Main Intelligence Agency (HUR), Kirillo Budanov, and other officials. For example, the liquidation of HUR head Budanov was planned to be carried out before Easter, the SBU announced.
The SBU also described a plan to kill Budanov.
“The enemy’s plan was as follows: initially, the recruited agent was supposed to observe the movement of the guarded person and pass the information to the enemy. It was planned to carry out a missile strike on the building where the official was supposed to be. After that, the drone was supposed to attack the people who remained at the site of the strike. After that The Russians planned to launch another missile, including to destroy traces of the use of the drone,” the SBU said.
