Earlier this month, Google finally launched its much-anticipated Android Find My Device network in select regions. Soon after the launch, various hardware manufacturers announced that they would be launching their own Find My Device network-enabled tracker accessories. Chipolo was one of the first of these brands to announce its Android Find My Device tracking accessories in 2023.
Chipolo had previously announced that it would start shipping its tracker in May. However, if you’re looking forward to getting your hands on these trackers, you may have to wait.
Chipolo tracker will start shipping on May 27
Chipolo has already confirmed that it will start shipping its Find My Device network-enabled trackers from May 27. Chipolo’s support page mentions that the “first batch” of its trackers will ship within two weeks of the first shipping date. The first batch of devices is only for those who pre-ordered them by July 27, 2023. Since shipping will take two weeks, most will probably receive their products at some point in June.
The second batch of these trackers is for anyone who has ordered since July 27, 2023. They also include orders placed after Google’s announcement earlier this month. The company says it will start shipping those orders on June 10, but within four weeks. So those who pre-ordered their product during this period will likely not receive it until late June or early July.
Pebblebee’s first Find My Device trackers may also be delayed
Pebblebee is also one of the first brands to launch its Find My Device-enabled trackers. Its product pages for trackers also mention that it will ship on May 27th. They will be sent “in the order they were posted”. So, it’s likely that Pebblebee’s tracker delivery timeline could be similar to Chipolo’s. However, as we get closer to shipping dates, you may have to wait a little longer than you thought. These brands should receive more clarification in the coming weeks.
