On April 18, the program of the Riga Photography Biennale was opened, which this year, with nine international exhibitions, a wide educational program, as well as the annual edition of RFB, addressed such existential issues as the impact of technology on human nature, the relationship between man and nature, and the informative code of the modern image, the organizers informed.

And this year, too, the Riga Photography Biennale is going outside of Riga – from April 30 to May 31, the exhibition To be, we must understand the river will be on display in the cultural center of Sigulda devons. Three Baltic artists – Mari Lēna Kīpli (Estonia), Kotrīna Ła Kiliulīte (Lithuania), Sabīne Šnē (Latvia) – and the curator of the exhibition Inga Brūvere continue the RFB 2024 theme of contemporary identity issues, focusing on nature and man as one of its elements.

In the program, there is a conversation with the head of the biennial program Inga Brüveri and the artist Sabini Shne.
