A. Lembergs says: “Everyone knows that the West has been applying all kinds of sanctions against Russia since 2014, and especially intensively since 2022, including large-scale economic ones. What is the result? The International Monetary Fund reports that the Russian economy will grow by 3.2% this year.”

It is also interesting to compare how much growth is predicted for other countries.

The forecasted growth for the Eurozone is 0.8%,
Germany – 0.2%,
France – 0.7%,
Italy – 0.7%,
Spain – 1.9%,
Latvia – 1.4%.
