The Vidzeme planning region continues the networking afternoon for re-emigrants “My home in Vidzeme” with the aim of providing support when returning to Vidzeme. This time you will be able to enjoy the natural beauty of Vidzeme and adventures on the Dikli side. Not only the families of re-emigrants, but also the re-emigration specialists of Vidzeme municipalities are invited to participate in the event, in order to meet and discuss current issues in an informal atmosphere.

The event will take place on Sunday, May 19, from 12.00 to 17.00. Gathering at 12.00 in the parking lot near Dikļi Palace.
After visiting the Dikļu Palace and the Vikas Fairytale Park, there will be a visit to the owner of the glamping “Mežurga”, Jānis Vītolas, in an untouched corner of nature on the banks of the Mazbriedes River.
The event is planned for families with children of all ages. There will be various activities for the whole family: ball rally along the Mazbriedes River, fishing, baking “wooden bread”, etc.

The event “My Home in Vidzeme” takes place every time in a different place in the Vidzeme region, so that re-emigrants have the opportunity to meet closer to their place of residence and to build a closer relationship between the families living in the nearby area who have returned to Latvia. Last year, the networking afternoons were held in Cēsis, Kārkii of Valkas county and in the Blue Mountains of Ogre, but this year, in April, a meeting of re-emigrant families was held in Limbaži, on the shore of the Great Lake. Each time the meeting gathered more and more interested parties.
