Adults are invited to a career day at the Metalworking Learning Park

On May 20, the Adult Career Day will be held at the Metalworking Training Park of the Zemgale Region Competence Development Center (ZRKAC) at Krišjāņa Barona Street 40, which will provide an idea of career and professional development opportunities in the industry, as well as the use of this type of skills in everyday life – for personal needs.

At the adult career day, you will have the opportunity to learn about professional development opportunities in the metalworking industry and to find out what training programs you need to study in order to become a specialist in this field. Also, participants will be able to try their hand at welding under the supervision of professionals to get an idea of how the work process works in practice.

Along with learning about the professional aspect, those present will find out how welding skills can be used in the implementation of new hobbies or in performing useful work on the farm.

Both men and women are invited to participate in the career day, thus breaking stereotypes about the division of genders working in the field of metalworking – representatives of the fairer sex are more and more common in this industry, and they are characterized by enterprise, accuracy and excellent professional skills.

The adult career day will take place on May 20 at 6 p.m. at ZRKAC Metalworking Learning Park, Krišjāņa Barona Street 40. Participation is free of charge.

Those interested are invited to apply by phone 27800576 or e-mail [email protected] by May 17.
