Sunday, May 12, at 13.00 Daugavpils Regional History and Art Museum invites families to special activities dedicated to Mother’s Day, during which you will have the opportunity to spend time creatively and knowingly!

Every member of the family will have the opportunity to spend this day in a special way. Children will be able to take part in the creative workshop dedicated to Mother’s Day, while parents are invited to take part in the quiz. After the activities dedicated to Mother’s Day, everyone will have the opportunity to capture the most beautiful moments together in a specially created photo zone for the family.

Mother’s Day was first celebrated on the second Sunday of May in 1908 in the United States, when Sunday school teacher Anna Reese Jarvis from West Virginia held church services in honor of her mother. Mother’s Day is celebrated on different dates in different countries of the world, and it is mostly a holiday when we especially honor mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, valuing their selfless contribution to the family.

In celebration of this holiday, the Daugavpils Regional Research and Art Museum has prepared activities dedicated to Mother’s Day, which families, especially children and their mothers, are invited to attend. Activities dedicated to Mother’s Day will take place on Sunday, the 12th. in May from 13.00 We invite you to apply for participation in advance by calling 20203713.
Participation fee, according to the new price list: 6.00 € per person, participation is free for mothers.
