Again this year, traders will provide a wide range of hydrangeas, roses, peonies and rhododendrons. The offer will also include more exotic vegetable and plant seedlings, such as watermelon, melon, passion fruit, pepino or melon pear, eucalyptus and passionflower seedlings.
Those interested will also be able to purchase garden equipment and machinery, work clothes, various handicrafts, garden decorations, ceramics, as well as small forms of landscape architecture. Soil conditioners and pest control products will also be available, including, for example, moss cleaners.
There will also be scales and wickerwork, as well as various products – cosmetics, medicinal products and others – made from partridges. On the other hand, gourmets will be able to enrich their Planting Days experience with homemade delicacies.
It should be noted that the annual Seedling Days are also a platform for knowledge and mutual communication, where gardeners will have the opportunity to meet seedling growers and traders in person, finding out the most important things about growing and caring for seedlings.
Also, the cultural program will delight visitors on both days of the event. On Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., folk dance ensembles “Lielupe”, “Ex Lielupe”, “Jaunība”, “Diždancis” and “Ritums” will perform at the Jelgava House of Culture.

On May 12, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the dances of VPDK “Laipa”, DK “Ozolnieki”, BJDK “Ieviņa” and VPDK “Rota” will be held in the event.
Traffic restrictions will be in effect in the city during the event. Visitors to Planting Days are invited to park their cars in designated places, for example, in the parking lot on Pilssalas Street 1, as well as in the meadow opposite Jelgava Castle, where a large parking lot will be set up on the days of the event. To load goods, it will be possible to use the option of a short-term parking place in Herzog Jēkab square near the flagpoles and in the parking lot behind the cultural building.
