Radiologist Inga Frišmane, chief physician of the Radiation Diagnostics Department of the Liepāja Regional Hospital (LRS), has received a Letter of Appreciation from the Ministry of Health for her honest, creative and long-term work and contribution to the development of the health industry in the field of oncology diagnostics.

Julija Spitsina, head nurse of the Reception and Observation Department of LRS, can be proud of the Letter of Appreciation of the Ministry of Health for her honest work in the health care sector.

Similarly, Laura Čirkše, head nurse of the 3rd ward of the Seaside Hospital, received recognition for her honest work and significant contribution to the care of gerontopsychiatry patients.

A letter of thanks for the contribution to public health care was also awarded to the doctor of Liepāja Family Health Center, Linda Reicle.

“2024. year is more stable and predictable in the sector than the previous one, and this is a confirmation that the health sector is a priority in the country along with safety.

Measures are being implemented in the sector to ensure modern, high-quality and affordable health care for Latvian residents, and an orderly and modern working environment for medical personnel.

It is important that in the fast pace of everyday life we ​​find a moment to stop a little and appreciate what we have done.

Therefore, it is a pleasure and an honor for me, in the spirit of Latvia’s national holiday, to say thank you to every person working in health care – for endurance and perseverance, for knowledge and professionalism. And for protecting the health of the people of Latvia,” said Hosam Abu Meri, addressing the awardees at the ceremony.
