Latvians prefer traditional dishes on weekdays, and burgers and pizzas on holidays

According to the data collected by the technology company “Wolt”, Latvians mostly like to order traditional food to their home or office on weekdays, and one of the favorite restaurants for choosing such dishes is “LIDO”. On the other hand, at the end of the week and on holidays, preference is given to meals such as burgers and pizzas.

From Monday to Friday, classic choices dominate, proving Latvians’ love for potatoes. Accordingly, on these days, fried potatoes or mashed potatoes, which are topped with chicken, are most often ordered, thus placing these dishes on the list of the most popular, which are usually ordered from “LIDO”. In addition, it can be seen that a complete meal is not complete without a dessert, of which coffee cream with vanilla sauce is at the top of the list. The second place is taken by the taste of childhood – oatmeal dessert with jelly, followed by churros, bread soup and curd pie with raisins.

It should be noted that those who like the “LIDO” menu do not limit themselves to just one dish, but most often buy more than four different dishes in one order.
