“If we do not create a solution to the situation, then we will have very big problems related to people’s trust in political forces – trust in those state forces that have to evaluate these political forces. Because the recent scandals connected with parties, with money and the budget, with which we are doing very poorly today… Oncologists have announced that the minister has a good plan, but until there is no money, they see no practical sense in it, how to move forward?! We know that the teachers will picket again, because there really is something to picket about!” commented Kreituse.

According to the political scientist, all this is creating this negative situation and mistrust of political parties.

“Practically, it is a crisis, because we only find through elections and through political parties those people whom we trust to lead us both in the municipality and the country, as well as at the level of the European Union. This is very relevant! And at the same time we forget that when we speak and say that no, we are like that and we are very good and like thatall of this is listened to by the employees of the embassies here, who analyze it, and then we are surprised that we are in one of the last places when it comes to attracting investments,” stressed political scientist and RSU professor emeritus Kreituse, discussing current affairs in politics on TV24’s “Personality of the Day with Velta Puriņa” “.
