The police were looking for the Audi car on purpose. The driver of the car had got into a conflict in Kadaga and left a moment ago. It was impossible to get away from the law enforcement crew on the rutted dirt road, and the man stopped the vehicle.

The driver confirmed that he had consumed “a little” alcohol, and the characteristic smell of strong drinks came from him, so the State Police was called to the scene and took over the work at the scene.

When initially checking the concentration of alcohol in the breath, it was clear that the driver was not within the permitted limit of 0.5 ppm. The driver of the “Audi” met the state police officers in the detention compartment of the municipal police bus.

The arrested driver initially told the security guards that he wanted to contact his lawyer, but then indicated that he needed to relieve his natural needs, to which the policeman pointed out that there are no toilets in this area.

“But what should I do? [Policists: Jo ilgāk jūs runāsiet, jo ilgāk tas viss būs.] I’m coming out. Can I at least go home with you? I need enough.” After taking care of his natural needs in the bushes, it became clear that the man had sat at the wheel of the car under the influence of more than two parts per million.
