We do not have a special pellet tank in the area of these houses, so the pellets have to be regularly transported and refilled, which is complicated, requires time and the involvement of employees. We have a lot of boiler houses and there is no time to drive around like this. In addition, the price of gas is currently low, so it is more profitable to heat with gas. If the time comes when the price of gas will rise again, we will have no problem changing the burner – install a pellet burner and fire with pellets. At the time when we installed the pellet heating boiler, the price of gas had risen very rapidly several times, you could say it was like space, so we immediately looked for the cheapest solution. In addition, it is good that we are left with alternative solutions for different situations. As far as information is concerned, we did not provide any additional information, as there will be no changes in payments to the residents, as they pay according to the uniform tariff – 69.27 euros/MWh without VAT, which is applied where heating is provided by SIA “Tukuma siltums”.
