On the regional bus route Riga-Bauska, from May 1st, there will be several new express flights with a reduced number of stops and faster arrival at the destination, diverting them through the Ķekava bypass, the LETA agency was informed by the Autotransport Directorate (ATD).
These flights will have three stops – Riga International Bus Station, Iecava and Bauska Bus Station.
On working days, the bus will leave from Bauska at 6, 9.55 and 16.50, while from Riga – at 8.30, 15.20 and 18.20.
On Saturdays and Sundays, the bus will leave Bauska at 7:10 a.m. and arrive in Riga at 8:15 a.m.
Due to changes in the Riga-Bauska route, the arrival times of several other flights at the destination have been changed by ten to 15 minutes.
ATD indicates that at the same time in the Bauska district, from May 1, there will also be changes on the routes Bauska-Jaunsaule-Skaistkalne, Bauska-Bārbele, Rīga-Vecumnieki and Rīga-Skaistkalne.
The afternoon journey of the Bauska-Jaunsaule-Skaistkalne route will start five minutes later from Bauska – at 17.35, and the bus will leave the Līči-Jaunsaule section earlier, while the arrival time at the final destination Skaistkalne will not change.
On the Bauska-Bārbele route, the bus will arrive at 6:35 a.m. from the Bārbele terminus in Bauskas five minutes earlier – at 7:40 a.m., and the Grotēni-Vecumnieku turn will leave sooner.
On the other hand, on the route Riga-Vecumnieki and on the route Riga-Skaistkalne, all flights will include the stop “Ezernieki”, as well as there will be several changes in the times of the flights.
