Raimonds Jaudzems leaves the position of head of the Sala parish administration

The executive director of Jēkabpils municipality, Uldis Skreivers, informs that Raimonds Jaudzems, the head of the Sala parish administration, left his job at his own request.

U. Skreivers said that R. Jaudzems mentioned that he felt tired and would like time to think. Currently, the duties of the head of the administration have been assigned to Anita Bārzdiņa, the farm manager of the Sēlpils parish administration, and a competition for the position of head of the parish administration will be held. Also, the council management allowed that the size of the territories for which the parish managers should be responsible can be changed.

BD already wrote about the meeting of residents of Sēlpils and Salas parishes with the council management, where people expressed dissatisfaction with the work of R. Jaudzems, because he avoided communication with the residents, did not respond to their complaints and suggestions related to infrastructure management and other needs. U. Skreivers said that there were such complaints last year as well, during meetings with residents on the island and also later. This is also probably one of the reasons that prompted R. Jaudzemas to think about leaving his position.
