41% of the population believe that the European Union should not financially support independent media reporting in the Russian language, according to a survey commissioned by the research center SKDS on behalf of the “Delfi” portal.

A clear majority of people who believe that the EU should financially support independent media reporting in Russian, judging by their electoral choice in the European Parliament elections, would support the following parties: “Harmony”, “Stability”, “Sovereign Power”.

The survey was co-financed by the European Union through the European Parliament’s Communication Grant Programme.
