When the inspectors arrived, the owner of the animals claimed that only six adult dogs were on the property and presented their passports. Upon further inspection, it was revealed that more than 20 dogs are staying in unsanitary conditions on the 2nd floor of the house, among various garbage, and the puppies are hidden in bags. Upon unzipping them, inspectors found at least two puppies in each, which were apparently already beginning to lack oxygen after being trapped in the bags.

During the inspection, it was found that only four of the dogs are microchipped, six dogs have passports, only two dogs have valid rabies vaccinations that will expire in a couple of days.

The Food and Veterinary Service has initiated an administrative violation process for the detected violations.

34 dogs and one parrot, which were kept in equally unsanitary conditions on the second floor of the house, have been removed and taken to an animal shelter.
