In March 2024, 17 newborns were registered, 11 marriages were registered and 37 death registers were compiled in the Ventspils Birth Registry Department.
17 newborns were registered in March, incl. 10 girls and 7 boys, all of them were born in Ventspils. When determining paternity, the child’s parents are not married, 6 children are registered, and one death is registered without information about the father. The first children in the family are 7, the second – 1, the third – 7, the fourth – 1 and the fifth – 1. The place of residence was chosen for 9 newborns in Ventspils, 7 – in Ventspils county, and 1 – in Tukuma county.
11 marriages were registered in March – 10 couples registered their marriage in the Marriage Hall of the Registry Office, and one couple chose the Livonian Order Castle for their marriage registration. Two couples were those in which both spouses got married for the first time, five – in which one of the spouses got married for the first time, and four couples – in which both spouses got married again. In March, brides were aged between 23 and 60, and grooms aged between 29 and 58.
The number of deaths registered in March is 37, incl. one unknown person, 16 women and 20 men. 3 of the deceased persons were aged between 32 and 60, 4 – aged between 61 and 70; 11 – aged between 71 and 80 years; 13 – aged between 81 and 90 years and 5 – aged between 91 and 95 years. 32 persons had their last place of residence in Ventspils and 4 in Ventspils region.
