The composer’s daughter Justine, “Minuet”, Three Tenors and other musicians will perform in the grand concert dedicated to Yuri Kulakov

The following groups will take part in the concert: “Pērkons”, “Instrumenti”, “DAGAMBA”, “Minuet”, the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra, singer Nauris Puntulis, guitarist Armands Alksnis, Three Latvian Tenors, Jura Kulakova’s daughter – violinist Justīne Kulakova-Sipņevska, musicians Ainars Virga, Uldis Marhilevičs, flautist Liene Sējāne, RTU men’s choir “Gaudeamus”, Riga Doma girls’ choir “Tiara” led by conductor Aira Biržina and many, many other artists. The artistic director of the concert is musician Reinis Sējāns.

The evening will be warmed up by the group “Skaļā Daba”, which consists of six young and energetic musicians who are united not only by the joy of playing music together, but also by their love for live, Latvian rock music and cherishing it in creativity.

“Our first concert took place in Roja, on the 2021 “Kulakov Night”, and since then Jura’s music has always been in our repertoire,” says the band’s drummer Kristaps Rungis (son of Pērkona’s drummer Ikars Rungis), adding: “Without Jura’s music, our the group wouldn’t even have the name “Skaļā Daba”, because it was imagined by the group’s soloist Matīss Mateuss-Kalniņš, while we were preparing the song “Quiet nature with acacias” for the 2021 “Kulakova night”.

The band consists of Matīss Mateuss-Kalniņš (vocals), Kristaps Rungis (percussion), Gustavs Gailītis (guitar), Reinis Rudens (guitar), Edvards Jānis Treijs (bass guitar) and Melissa Debora Kaškura (keyboards). They will perform “Pērkona” songs “Noise”, “Sheik at the window”, “Quiet nature with acacias”, etc.
