Prince William and Wales princess kate are currently “going through hell” as they struggle to come to terms with the news any family dreads to receive, said Amaia Arieta, a designer close to the family, the Daily Mail reports.

Amaia Arieta, who became close to her family after the birth of her eldest son and has given birth to many of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and of Prince Louis outfits, described how the family feels while Kate battles the disease.
Arietta, a mother of three herself, told the Telegraph: “I’m heartbroken right now. I think they’re going through hell.”
“I hope they come back. It’s really personal,” she added.
The Spanish-born designer said that creating clothes for the royal family gives her great satisfaction and pride. She first used her designs in a 2014 portrait of Prince George, in which he wore Amaia shorts and knee-high socks.
Since then, she has been a designer for children’s clothing worn at various social events as well as in official photographs.
Kate, 42, revealed she was battling cancer just weeks after king charles announced his diagnosis.
A Mother’s Day photo caused a frenzy on social media around the world after fans of the royal family noticed the image had been edited. The Princess of Wales later issued a statement confirming that she had experimented with editing like many amateur photographers.
Shortly after, on March 22, Kate posted an emotional video in which she revealed to the public that she was battling cancer. Kate said: “It was a huge shock of course. […] I needed time to recover from major surgery and start treatment. But most importantly, we needed time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that suited them and to reassure them that everything would be fine with me.”
The Prince and Princess of Wales have been overwhelmed by the warmth and support from the public since the diagnosis.
King Charles has just returned to official duties, but it is not yet confirmed when Kate will return to work.
