Musician Sylvester Belt, whose performance was accompanied by the biggest ovation, has become a clear favorite of the audience at the dress rehearsal of the first semi-final. After the dress rehearsal, the Lithuanian could not turn away from the attention of the press and fans. The musician kindly answered all questions and spent time with fans.

The hometown of the musician is Kaunas. He was educated both at the Kaunas Conservatory and the London University of Westminster. He gained recognition from a wider audience by participating in various TV shows.

His “Eurovision” composition “Luktelk” is a pop song with the influence of electronic music, its text is intentionally kept in Lithuanian, so that the consonants resemble words in other languages, thus – addressing foreigners. The concept of the song works perfectly.

“I am confident about my team and performance on the big Eurovision stage. A lot of work has been invested and it is a pleasure to be appreciated,” admits Sylvester Belt.

The musician says that it is still too early to rejoice before the results of the vote, the audience in Europe may understand him or not.

“There are many very strong performances. Of course, I hope for the audience’s support in the semi-final vote. Everything depends on how we will appeal to people in Europe,” states Belt.

Unfortunately, Latvia will not be able to vote and support Silvester in the first semi-final, Latvia will vote in the second semi-final – on May 9, when representatives of Latvia and Estonia will perform.
