In the first semi-final, 15 countries – Australia, Azerbaijan, Croatia, Cyprus, Iceland, Finland, Ireland, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Moldova, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia and Ukraine – will compete for entry to the final.
The “big five” countries Germany and the United Kingdom, as well as last year’s winner Sweden, will also be able to vote in this semi-final.
We remind you that Latvian representative Dons will perform in the second semi-final with the song “Hollow” on May 9. Albania, Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Greece, Georgia, Estonia, Israel, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, San Marino and Switzerland will compete with him.
10 songs will enter the grand final, which will take place on May 11.
Who could win Eurovision this year? Predictions were previously made by bookmakers: “It must be said that this year there is no single favorite, as has been observed in previous years. The Eurovision totalizer gives the best chances to win to the Swiss representative Nemo, followed by the Croatian singer “Baby Lasagna” and the Italian Angelina Mango. Italy is the main favorite among all the “big five” countries, while the bookmakers mark Sweden and Norway as favorites in the Nordic duel.
