STV First! the singer Ralfs Eiland was a guest on the program “When they meet”, and the presenters Baiba Vītiņa and Liene Stepena wanted to find out the question that always and everyone is interested in – how is Ralf Eiland doing with love right now? The answer followed quickly and very directly – “I am very happily single at the moment”.
This does not mean that the musician has planned to spend his whole life like that – everything
can always change in an instant. Because matters of the heart are not predictable or
scheduled.
Ralph Eiland can also explain why he’s happy being single: “I like sex, so I don’t want to get married.” Right away, he admits that it’s just a marriage and he doesn’t really feel ready to get married yet, although it happens from time to time, because you can’t predict such things: “It somehow happens… You fall head over heels in love, and then you just lose yourself don’t know…”
The musician agrees that the period of rose-colored glasses is beautiful, but he does not like it completely, because sooner or later it passes and then disappointment follows. Based on his relationship experience, Ralph Eiland has realized that he does not want to change for the sake of the other person, to give up his characteristics or habits, not even a little bit: “I want to find another person who I accept for who he is, and then she accepts me for who she is, what am i And the older you get, the harder it is to do.” The singer admits that this is selfishness, as well as the fact that for the sake of the right person, he could perhaps hone a small corner of himself…
