This weekend, on April 27 and 28, on the right bank of Venta – Pärventa – a large-scale waste collection campaign “Bring it closer to home!” will take place. The municipality SIA “Ventspils labiekörőšanas kombināts” invites the residents of Pārventas to take advantage of the opportunity and get rid of waste that is not suitable for placing in the household waste container free of charge.
Large-scale waste collection campaign “Deliver closer to home!” will take place in the same way as on the left bank of the Venta (city), where it was held last weekend. On Saturday, April 27, and also on Sunday, April 28, free access bulky containers will be installed in several places for a limited time, where everyone can dispose of mattresses, carpets, furniture and bulky repair waste, ie timber, doors, window frames, free of charge without glasses and flattened packing box.

During the campaign, household waste, electrical goods, hazardous waste, used tires, construction and demolition waste, as well as garden green waste will not be accepted.
It has already been announced that the large-scale waste collection campaign “Deliver closer to home!” has been organized with the financial support of the Ventspils City Council since 2003, and takes place twice a year – in spring and autumn.
On a daily basis, it is possible to hand over large waste (furniture) free of charge at the sorted waste reception areas – Jēkaba Street 47 and Siguldas Street 8a every day from 10.00 to 19.00, except Mondays.
