A woman who has been regularly applying artificial tanning products to her skin for 15 years has mixed up six different brands of creams because she is “never dark enough”. This experiment ended in disaster, as her face turned khaki green as a result.

Bobbie Jo Houston from Blackpool, UK, tried mixing several different brands of artificial tan to create her perfect bronze color, the DailyMail reports.
The woman said that she has tried countless tanning methods, but she is always disappointed when the “tan” washes off in the morning and the color is not as dark as she would like.
Unfortunately, she found out the hard way that her experiment had failed as she woke up looking a little different than usual.
Then the woman posted a video on TikTok to share her panic and see if anyone had a solution to her problem, and to her surprise, more than five million people saw her crisis.
“It’s khaki green in the light. You can’t see my eyebrows at all,” she said.
The next morning was a special day for Bobbi Jo and her daughter.
Stains of green fake tan were also smeared all over her white pillowcase and duvet cover.
Bobbi Jo frantically rubbed her face with several make-up wipes to remove the ‘tan’, but it stubbornly clung to the woman’s skin.
“I didn’t think it was going to happen, you know, I wouldn’t have left it that long, not when I had somewhere to go, I would have washed it sooner,” she said.
Thousands of TikTok users took to the videos she posted to comment their thoughts and give BobbieJo advice.
Luckily, Bobbi Jo was able to clear her green ‘tan’ times to make it to afternoon tea with her daughter.
As a result, the woman believes that she still got a perfect tan.
