A new couple has formed in the circles of domestic celebrities – the actress of the New Riga Theater (JRT) Agate Krista has been with the bass guitarist of the group “Sudden Lights” Kārli Vārtiņa for a year now, writes the publication “Privātā Dzīve”.
“Our love is simple, pure and beautiful,” admits Krista. The couple met through mutual friends and quickly found a common language.
“The profession of a stage artist is not easy. So it’s nice to have someone around who understands and supports me. We are so good together,” says Agate about the relationship.
Karlis is a very good person with a big heart. And that is a trait that cannot be learned. It either is or it isn’t.

Before her relationship with Vārtīns, Agate was with her fellow director and photographer Tom Harjo for a long time. The couple was together for three years: “After the breakup, we have no resentment towards each other. We maintain a friendly and collegial relationship. We still communicated every day, because we work in the same theater.”
