“Insulation is of course one of the things we are doing, but I would rather say renovation. It’s not just paneling and insulation here. There are many other things here – the visual appearance of the house is getting much better, windows, doors are being changed, sound insulation is getting better – there is no such noise from the street. All risers and sleepers are changed. Therefore, there is no problem that at some point something will start to leak. It is possible to regulate the heat individually in each apartment, which is not possible with the old systems. There are many benefits and you practically live as if in a new house – this is the most important benefit,” says M. Ozoliņš.

Riga resident Toms, who is a resident of the updated building at Mūrnieku Street 14, also shares his experience. Tom points out that a house as an asset is a great value that will only increase with renovation.
