After being swept in three games on the road against the Rays, the Mets finished their road trip with a 2-3 record after taking two games with the Cardinals, 4-3 on Monday, and 7-5 on Tuesday.
With the results, the Mets are 18-18 entering a three-game series against the Braves which begins Friday night at Citi Field.
Jose Quintana had been scheduled to start Wednesday afternoon’s game, while Christian Scott was slated to make his Citi Field debut on Friday.
The probable pitchers have yet to be announced for Friday.
