Brendan Allen (23-5 MMA, 11-2 UFC) had one of the best 2023s in the UFC. He extended his winning streak to six with a 3-0 mark for the calendar year – all rear-naked choke finishes. Two of them took home post-fight bonus awards. Five of the six wins in his current run have been RNCs.

Main event: Chris Curtis

After an eight-fight winning streak, including his first three in the UFC, Chris Curtis (31-10 MMA, 5-2 UFC) has leveled off of late at 2-2 with a no contest for good measure. After a late 2022 win over Joaquin Buckley, Curtis dropped a decision to Kelvin Gastelum a year ago. His no contest with Nassourdine Imavov was supposed to be followed by a fight against Anthony Hernandez, but an injury kept Curtis on the sidelines. In January, he took a split decision from Marc-Andre Barriault to right the ship.

Co-main event: Alexander Hernandez vs. Damon Jackson

In his first two UFC fights, Alexander Hernandez (14-7 MMA, 6-6 UFC) beat Beneil Dariush and future $1 million PFL winner Olivier Aubin-Mercier. It’s been tougher sledding since then at 4-6, though. Hernandez will try to bounce back from an October loss to Bill Algeo that has him 1-3 in the past couple of years.

Damon Jackson (22-6-1 MMA, 5-4-1 UFC) needs a bounce-back of his own. After a four-fight winning streak, Jackson had an 0-2 year in 2023 with a knockout loss to Dan Ige and a decision setback against Billy Quarantillo – the first time he lost a fight on the judges’ scorecards.
