The Timberwolves outscored the visitors with a score of 106:99 and went 1-0 in the Western Conference semi-final series with four wins.

43 points is an NBA playoff record for Edwards and the team. Most of the possible – 25 points – Edwards scored in the first half.

Karl-Anthony Towns scored 20 points despite running into a scoring problem. Naz Reid led the way with 14 points in the fourth quarter after scoring just two.

In the second half, “Timberwolves” basketball players made 71.1% of shots from the game. “The whole team trusts each other. It doesn’t even really matter who makes the shot,” Edwards said.

For the opposition, two-time MVP Nikola Jokic scored 32 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out nine assists, but also committed seven turnovers. Michael Porter Jr. had 20 points and Jamal Murray had 17 points, all in the second half.
