On the Olympic day, students of Jugla secondary school have fun / Article

School bags remained in classrooms, books – on the table. All the students of the younger classes met together on the sports field and had a good dance.

“I did very well, I liked how we danced. It was interesting,” said Daniela, a participant of the Olympic Day.

“I really liked it because we danced and played sports,” said Rafael.

“It was a very cool move the teacher chose,” Evelina added.

This is how the school ended the Olympic month.

“After the ovation, it’s clear that they liked it, that they could come out with success and have fun,” admitted Agnese Uiska, the sports organizer of Riga Jugla High School. “We celebrated the end of the Olympic month.”

In the project, the common morning rush throughout the country is the finish and climax of this Olympic marathon, but the winners are all.

The Secretary General of the Latvian Olympic Committee Kārlis Lejnieks explained that the activities of the Olympic Day are highly valued and serve as a reminder that physical activities are suitable for people of any age.

Instead of the traditional nightly question “how was your school today”, parents can safely ask to show what really happened at school today. Only you will have to get up from the sofa, and it will be more fun to exercise together.
